3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

3.1 Between Customers and Drivers

We share driver information with client businesses including: name, phone number, vehicle information, certifications, and ratings.

We share business information with drivers including: company name, contact person, location, and assignment details.

We do NOT share:

  • Full names (unless necessary for delivery verification)
  • Home addresses (beyond delivery location)
  • Payment information
  • Social Security Numbers or Tax IDs
  • Background check results
  • Personal email addresses (unless needed for specific communication)

3.2 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf:

  • Payment processors (Stripe) - to process transactions
  • Background check companies - to verify driver eligibility
  • Hosting provider (Webador) - to store data
  • Email service providers (Brevo) - to send communications
  • SMS providers (Brevo) - to send text notifications
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics) - to analyze Platform usage
  • Customer support tools (Zendesk) - to provide support
  • Mapping services (Google Maps) - to calculate routes and distances
  • Accounting software - to manage finances and taxes

These service providers are contractually obligated to:

  • Maintain confidentiality and security
  • Comply with applicable privacy laws

3.3 For Business Transfers

Active Accounts:

  • Account information: Retained while account is active
  • Delivery history: Retained indefinitely (for customer support and records)
  • Payment information: Retained as long as required for processing and accounting

Closed Accounts:

  • Core account data: 7 years after account closure (for legal/tax purposes)
  • Payment records: 7 years (IRS requirement)
  • Driver 1099 tax records: 7 years (IRS requirement)
  • Background checks: 7 years (compliance requirement)
  • Communications: 3 years after account closure

Special Data:

  • GPS location data (real-time tracking): 90 days after delivery completion
  • Device information and logs: 2 years
  • Marketing data: Until you opt out, then deleted within 30 days
  • Legal dispute data: Until resolution + 1 year

4.2 Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal information (see Section 7 - Your Privacy Rights). Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Important: While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. You use our Platform at your own risk.


6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Deliverton is based in the United States. If you access our Platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

  • iOS: Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
  • Android: Google Advertising ID (GAID)
  • You can reset or limit ad tracking in device settings

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Deliverton services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18:

  • We will delete that information immediately
  • We will terminate the account
  • Parents/guardians may contact us to request deletion

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services not operated by Deliverton.

Important:
